Description

Built between 1882 and 1884 in the Gothic Revival style, this clap-board cottage was the home of Alphonse and Dorimène Desjardins for more than 40 years. The house was restored in 1982 by the Mouvement Desjardins, as a tribute to the founder of the "Caisse populaire", the first loan and savings cooperative bank of North America.
