Description
La Savane des Esclaves extends an invitation to discover Martinique's authentic lifestyles and traditions. The visit and commentary of the traditional cases make it possible to better understand how the huts were built and the slaves' daily lives, thanks in particular to everyday utensils. The visit continues in the garden, where a discovery trail acquaints you with different Creole medicinal plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables. The visit focuses on the history of Martinique and slavery, as well as on traditional trades and crafts.
