Useful information

Description

Berengaria of Navarre, wife of Richard the Lionheart, never knew these three elegant houses built in the 15C-16C for a family of merchants. Yet the Queen of England is said to have died here in 1230. Today the buildings now house a four-storey museum with collections charting the history of Le Mans and its region.
