Description
From Bagenelles Pass, with its fine views of the Liepvrette Valley, head to the Refuge des Amis de la Nature where you can park your car. From here, a path leads to the summit of Le Brézouard (45min return) which boasts a stunning panorama. To the north, you'll see the Champ du Feu, the Climont and, in the distance, Mt Donon, to the northeast, Strasbourg, and to the south the Hohneck and the Grand Ballon. Le Brézouard and the region played a strategic role during WWI.
