Description
This site was home to a lavish and extensive Roman villa in the 2C. Digs exposed a small apse with a double semi-circular wall that is around 3m high and decorated on the inside with a multicoloured mural, over 20m2 long, depicting chariot races. Today the ArcheoLab invites visitors to slip into the skin of an archaeologist and explore life during Roman times through temporary exhibitions, while finding out more about professions related to archaeology.
