Description
The Playa Las Tumbas is the perfect setting for sunbathing and swimming in total tranquillity and comes highly recommended. This delightful beach of white sand bordering the Yucatán Channel will reward those willing to undertake the 70km journey from La Bajada to the end of the island. Nearby, the Cape San Antonio lighthouse alerts shipping as to the location of the tip of the Guanahacabibes peninsula, which is protected by a national park and has been declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
