Useful information

Description

To the south of Larne harbour, on a strip of land known as Curran Point, stand the ruins of a four-storey, 16C, square fortress, once called Coraine, which now goes by the name of Olderfleet Castle (derived from Wulfrichford). It is one of the three forts which guarded the entrance to the channel in the early 17C.
