Useful information

Description

Also accessible from Hervey Bay, Bundaberg or Brisbane, the southernmost coral cay of the Great Barrier Reef barely covers 40ha, but it is a paradise for free diving and scuba diving enthusiasts. In addition to a plethora of tropical fish, turtles and large numbers of manta rays frequent its coral reef. Back on land, you can observe terns, cormorants and frigate birds and see turtles lay their eggs (Nov-Dec) and even watch the eggs hatch (Jan-Mar).
