Description
La Rochepot Castle stands in an enchanting site, on top of the rocky spur of La Roche-Nolay. Built in the 13C and remodelled in the 15C, it has retained its outer defensive walls and elegant massive towers. Once across the drawbridges, you will discover the inner courtyard and its Renaissance wing. Next is the guardroom, then the captain of the guards' bedroom, the dining room with its neo-Gothic furniture, and the former chapel. Finally, the rampart walk commands a sweeping view.
