Description
Opposite the battleground site, the Battleship Texas recalls far more recent battles. Commissioned in 1914, the 573ft battleship served in both world wars before it was decommissioned in 1948. Rescued from demolition, the ship is now open for self-guided tours of both its main deck and lower levels.
