Description
Until recently Europe's last feudal fiefdom, Sark measures only 5km2. It is its beauty, however, rather than this unusual distinction which draws visitors in quest of views and tranquility. Virtually devoid of traffic (only tractors and tourist buses in season), the island is divided into Greater Sark and Little Sark, linked by La Coupée, an isthmus carrying a roadway lined by a parapet.
