Description
An old wood which has been turned into a public park, providing cool shade away from the crowds in summer. Pine trees dominate here, although the palms, bay trees and mimosas add a hint of the south. An open-air amphitheatre for 2 000 spectators hosts regular cultural events, such as the town's jazz festival. Art installations and sculptures (designed according to a different theme every year) brighten the park's avenues.
