Description
This leafy walk, only a few minutes from the Rynek, will acquaint you with one of the city's most pleasant suburbs. Climb to the top of the Kościuszko mound to enjoy a splendid view over Kraków. The Lajkonik procession, which takes place in early June, is led by a richly garbed and bearded Tatar khan, who prances about on a wooden horse tied to his waist in the company of musicians. According to tradition, if he touches you with his mace, you will enjoy good luck for the whole year.
