Ancient Corinth
The Green Guide

Useful information

Description

A visit of Ancient Corinth involves two parts: the mainly Roman ancient town, surrounded by a wall, then Acrocorinth, the citadel. Even if the ruins reveal a large-scale city, it is not easy to grasp the economic and strategic power it wielded. Indeed Corinth was the wealthiest and busiest trading town in Ancient Greece, partly on account of its location on one of the trade routes connecting East and West.
