Description

The small yellow castle is charming, standing smartly on a little verdant island where Lake Mälaren meets the Kolbäck River. Completed in 1681 by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder, its subsequent decoration is for the most part in the Gustavian style. Large collection of Swedish paintings.
