Built level with Kagikaketoge Pass, the car park on Route 45 offers one of the most dazzling views of Mount Daisen. Unlike the eastern and western faces that resemble Mount Fuji, the southern slopes divulge a long ridge crowning an impressive rocky cliff. From the overhanging lookout platform, you'll be able to observe the entirety of the massive beech wood forest dotted with the occasional Japanese maple. Stunningly beautiful in autumn!
