Useful information

Description

Since the 11C to 13C, Kochi has been home to a Jewish community, which expanded in the 15C with the arrival of Jews exiled from Spain. The Pardesi synagogue, built in 1568, was embellished in the 18C. Admire the blue faience floor tiles which were produced in Canton.
