Description
The art collection founded by brewer Carl Jacobsen in 1882 is exceptional! Don't miss the impressive collection of French artists, from David to Manet, through Delacroix, Corot and Toulouse-Lautrec. Impressionists Pissarro, Monet, Cézanne and Renoir are also on display. Sculpture (Rodin, Carpeaux, Maillol et al) isn't forgotten either. The extensive antiquities collection and rooms devoted to Danish sculpture round off the experience.
