Useful information

Description

Founded by Jack Miner (1865-1944), this sanctuary is a stopover place for wildfowl on their seasonal migration. The best time to visit is November and early December, when an estimated 10,000 Canada geese and ducks land to feed. A small museum on the site is devoted to the founder of the sanctuary.
