The Michelin Guide's review
Built against the flank of the hillside on stilts, Yutoku Inari-jinja is one of the three largest Shinto Inari shrine of Japan. Every year thousands of pilgrims come here in search of prosperity and good luck in business, particularly at the New Year. The oldest edifice, devoted to the guardian spirit of the Nabeshima clan, dates from 1688. Iwasaki-Sya, the god of marriage who brings happiness and wealth, is worshipped in the enclosure of the main building.
