The Blue Rocks are amazingly shaped rock formations. They were once a place of refuge for the hajduks (foot soldiers) fighting against the Ottomans. Today a nature park, the area remains unspoiled and provides sanctuary to plants and wildlife, from the fox to the royal eagle and the maple tree to ferns. During your visit, you will also discover the winter sports resort of Karandila, at an altitude of 950m. Stop in at the Visitor Center for precious advice before setting off.
