Useful information

Description

An archaeological site of the former city of Noviodunum, Jublains is an outstanding testimonial to the Gallo-Roman period in Mayenne. Founded by the Romans on the site of an ancient Gallic sanctuary, the ancient layout of the city, still visible, featured the usual monuments (theatre, temple and public baths), as well as a remarkable and quite unique military fortress (200 AD).
