A playground in Moorish times, this square is still a place where gatherings and festivities are held. The central monument, by Mariano Benlliure, is dedicated to Jerez native, Miguel Primo de Rivera, who ruled Spain as dictator from 1923 to 1930, Miguel Primo de Rivera.
