Description

Snow Canyon State Park is known for its scenic eroded landscapes and lava flows, situated in an area of just 7 400 acres. The coral-coloured sand dunes, white and ochre sandstone canyon walls, blocks of lava, caves, and red and white sandstone rocks all create landscapes typical of the American West. As a result, the park has been used as the backdrop for westerns and films such as The Flintstones. The park is little visited, which makes it all the more attractive.
