Description
Between 1440 and 1456, the warlord, Loan de Hunedoara, extended and rebuilt in Gothic style the fortress that his father, Voicu, had been given by Sigismond of Luxemburg. His son, Mathias Corvin, transformed the castle into a lavish residence, already influenced by the Renaissance.
