Description
Founded in 1958 by Knud W Jensen, this museum is set amid the foliage of a park with the huge seascape of the Øresund in the background: a backdrop that serves to enhance the monumental sculptures by Calder, Arp, Ernst, Dubuffet and Moore. The buildings housing the collections also make full use of the site's natural beauty, which is incorporated into the architecture. All the great names of the 20C are represented and the exhibitions are top notch.
