Description
The Museum of Fine Arts of Houston today stands out as one of the largest museums in the U.S. With nearly 64,000 works, it provides an excellent insight into art over five continents and spans 6,000 years of history, from Antiquity to the second half of the 20C. Must-sees include the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists of the Beck Collection, the Glassell Collection of African Gold, antiquities, Renaissance and 18C art, without forgetting stunning American folk-art quilts.
