Description

Hornu is located close to Mons, in the heart of Borinage, a region where coal was mined until the 1970s. This small town has a real gem of industrial architecture in the form of Le Grand Hornu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is home to two museums, one dedicated to contemporary arts, the other to design and Belgian applied arts.
