Description
Freÿr Castle and its gardens, on the banks of the Meuse, make up a site that is designated part of the "exceptional heritage" of Wallonia. Follow in the footsteps of the royal guests of this residence, where the Treaty of Freÿr was signed (1675), and feast your eyes on the refined and eclectic decor. See the dining room with its impressive Renaissance fireplace, the vestibule with a painted ceiling covered with frescoes, a handful of Classical drawing rooms, a series of sleeping chambers, and a Rococo chapel.
