Description
Diego de Siloé began the construction of Guadix Cathedral, but most of the building was erected later, and only completed in 1715. Inside, the Gothic style of the entrance naves gives way to a Renaissance style, which reaches the peak of its expression with the lantern dome that tops the false transept. Be sure to visit the Chapel of St Torquat, by Diego de Siloé.
