Description
Behind the walls of a prestigious palace and forerunner of German Baroque, the Graz Armoury has the only arms collection of its kind in the world, presented with neither order, nor explanation (pick up an audio guide!). You are projected four centuries into the past, when the city was an outpost of Christendom, holding out against the Turks. Over 32 000 ancient weapons, including spears, halberds, arquebuses, pistols, muskets and impeccable armour are suspended in time here.
