Magnificent terraced gardens and subtle water features characterise this palace of modest dimensions which is right in front of the Alhambra and was built in 1319. Don't miss the patio of the Acequia around which are arranged the buildings ; the historic «Sultan's cypress» as well as the upper gardens with their famous water staircase, an enchanting place which demonstrates the refinement and sensuality of a whole civilisation.
