Kungsportsavenyn, more familiarly known as "Avenyn", extends for 1km in a straight line from Kungsportsplatsen, to the north, to Götaplatsen. This tree-lined avenue teeming with bars, cafés, restaurants and night clubs is Gothenburg's very own Champs-Élysées.
