Description
Full of priceless works of art, the museum boasts a fine example of the Beatus (975), St John's commentary on the Apocalypse. The fourth room houses the famous Tapestry of Creation (around 1100). Unique of its kind, this hand-embroidered tapestry shows iconographic details of Jewish origin which have been adapted to the Christian religion. Note also the splendid display of silverwork.
