Paul and Maria travelled around Europe for over a year in search of furniture, paintings and precious objects to embellish their Pavlosk and Gatchina estates. From their travels they brought back in particular the Gobelin Tapestries that were a gift from Louis XVI, which decorate the Throne Room of Paul I. Admire Empress Maria Feodorovna's refined state bedroom and the White Room, the largest in the palace, decorated by Antonio Rinadi in the neo-Classical style.
