A surprising silhouette in this small Missouri college town, St. Mary's, Aldermanbury, is indeed authentic. It marks the site where Sir Winston Churchill gave his famous "Sinews of Peace" speech on March 5, 1946-in which he immortalized the phrase "Iron Curtain." The venerable church was moved here in 1969.
