Description
If you have time, pay a visit to the spinning mills where tweed and throws are still manufactured. The industry was developed by a Foxford nun in the 19C in an effort to put an end to poverty. In addition to spinning mills, she helped establish a cereal mill and opened a free school to attract weavers and their families.
