Useful information

Description

Born in Fougères, Emmanuel de la Villéon (1858-1944) drew most of his inspiration from his native Brittany countryside. The museum, located in a 16C building, is mainly devoted to his work: oils, charcoals, travel diaries and the famous "box interiors" that provide an insight into the artist's technique and creative process.
