Description
One of the finest "small" art museums in the world, the Kimbell Art Museum sets itself apart with its unique architecture, which makes innovative use of natural light, as well as its remarkable collection of 350 masterworks. Caravaggio, El Greco, Rubens, Rembrandt, Cézanne, Van Gogh, Matisse: all the greats are present and correct. In the Renzo Piano Pavilion, pre-Colombian and Asian art collections are nicely shown off by a clever lighting strategy.
