Description
The shores of this lake, a Unesco World Heritage site, are a protected nature reserve and a paradise for birds and ornithologists alike. Also note the neighbouring lakeside houses linked by wooden footbridges on stilts. Boat trips are operated on the lake that borders Austria, which is now entirely navigable all year round.
