Description
A solar-powered boat takes visitors to this fine villa on the edge of Lake Geneva. The house, built in colonial style, offers a useful presentation of the Ramsar International Convention (1971) on the preservation of wetlands, showing how this applies to Évian and Pays Gavot. However, it is always better to refer to something concrete and the tour of the gardens illustrates the amazing diversity of wetlands within this 3.5ha/7.5-acre area.
