The Michelin Guide's review
This small complex is one of the shrines built in the west of Kandy. Its dagoba is actually a temple, the centre of which is surrounded by four small chapels housing a statue of the Buddha. This cruciform complex is crowned by five small dagoba. In the main shrine, the distinct influence of South Indian architecture is discernible. The stone of the steps and pillars near the entrance is carved with delicate figures of dancers, drummers and deities.
