Description
John Muir (1838-1914) lived here in the early years of his life. This pioneer of geology, explorer, naturalist and eminent conservationist was responsible for setting up the US National Parks (Yosemite and Sequoia). The house has been turned into an interactive centre dedicated to his life and his work.
