Description

The town of Tlos perches like an eagle's nest between the green meadows of the valley and the jagged peaks of the Ak Daglari range, which rise to an altitude of 2 000m. This city was prosperous in the 2C BC but is now abandoned to nature, making it an atmospheric place to stroll among the ancient ruins (baths, theatre, rock tombs), Ottoman citadel and Byzantine basilica. A fascinating glimpse of history in an evocative and scenic landscape.
