Description
The romantic ruins standing on pastureland that used to be on an island in the River Quoile belong to a Cistercian abbey that was founded in 1180 by the Norman John de Courcy. The main vestiges that can be seen are those of the English-style church, featuring the typical tall, pointed windows.
