Description
This courtyard is surrounded by the buildings of the Palace of the Dukes and Estates of Burgundy, which were completed just before the Revolution; at the northeastern corner is the Chapelle des Élus, whose door and interior decoration are both Louis XV. Under the porch, giving onto rue de la Liberté, a fine staircase by Jacques Gabriel leads to the Salle des États.
