Description

The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History is dedicated to the history of African Americans. Through a series of some 20 rooms, the exhibition entitled "And Still We Rise" takes you on a journey back in time and place from African origins to the present day. Dr Wright, who hailed from the region, created the museum in the 1960s and the current glass-domed structure was completed in 1997.
