Description

This palace was built in the 17C by Pieter Post for Amalia de Solms, widow of Prince Frederick Henry of Orange. It was here that the first peace conference was held in 1899. The country's former queen, Beatrix, mother of the current king, Willem-Alexander, lived in the palace until 2014.
