Description
Escape the noise of the city in this romantic English-style garden and visit some fine examples of Indo-Islamic funerary art. The sultans of the Sayyid and Lodi dynasties rest in these gardens: note the tomb of Sultan Mohammed Shah (mid 15C), with its characteristic hemispherical dome; the Bara Gumbad and Shish Gumbad, two very similar rauza (tombs) erected on either side of a pool; and the tomb of Sultan Sikandar Lodi, which dates from the 16C.
