The Michelin Guide's review
The famous Virginia Falls are the jewel in the crown of Nahanni National Park and one of the most spectacular sites in the Great North. This mighty curtain of water, cut in the middle by a rocky peak, cascades into a vast cirque twice as high as that of Niagara Falls! You round the falls via the Albert Faille Portage (1.6km), from which a path leads to the edge of the waterfall, offering a fine view of the rapids.
